The Circle of Life
Philosophy
If you can imagine a piece of cake. This cake we shall call the circle of life (or more so lives). Now cut this cake into pieces, many pieces. Each piece is a life which houses our soul experiences.
Allow me to explain more. We are talking about reincarnation. We change our bodies as often as we change our cars, obviously over longer periods of time, but I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to say. What's in this vehicle we call a body is a soul, the real us.
In each life, our soul needs to go through different life experiences. Imagine the conversations that you have had with friends and family, or the stories you have read. Now multiply that. Our soul (If not already) will have these very experiences and more. So, for instance, we shall have to be male/female, rich/poor, big built/thin built. The list goes on, and there I was only talking about the body, not life's many experiences of (among many other) dying young/old, dying of the many illnesses that plague a body. The list really is endless. We all know of yin-yang; yes/no, black/white, night/day. It's exactly the same with our souls. We have to experience the positive and negative of life experiences for the growth of our soul.
Why do we reincarnate, and why do we need these experiences? I hear you ask. Once we have completed our cake of the many soul lessons and experiences, then and only then will our time on the earth plane be complete. Then it shall be our time to reside with the many other souls forevermore. It's at this time that we shall be in a position to be able to help and assist those poor souls that are still living on earth, having their own experiences. After all how can we truly help another if we ourselves have not had the true experience of a soul lesson? Don't get me wrong, we have all had conversations where we can share a story, possibly agree, maybe feel how that person is feeling at the time. But can we really help them other than to listen, love and care? Which, of course, are all good feelings to share with each other, and certainly must be continued.
Akashic records.
There is a place called the Akashic records. It's a library that holds each and every book of that soul's reincarnated journey thus far. I myself have been many times, and it's helped me to understand myself in this life.
Allow me to elaborate.
I have a fear of water, more precisely, swimming pools. I'm fine in the sea, can't swim, but I can certainly go up to my waist. One time when I visited my soul book in the Akashic library. I was shown that I was a witch in a past life and that I was dunked. Sadly, for the crime of being a witch in the eighteenth century, you were dunked in a lake; if you survived, you were considered innocent. Sadly, none ever did. Another time that I visited the Akashic library, I was shown that I was a man of the sea, a pirate to be precise. That is where my love of the sea comes from. I have been on cruises, fishing trips, even a submarine, all without a care in the world of if I can swim or not. Strangely, I was watching a TV program many moons after this particular vision. In it, they were explaining that many sailors could not swim, and furthermore insisted upon it. It was actually considered bad luck to have a sailor aboard who could swim for fear of angering the gods whom looked after the ship and crewman. This is just one lesson that I have learned. I must add that if you feel you would like to visit the Akashic records yourself, then please do find a reputable teacher and a learned soul to take you on this journey. It cannot be for the faint-hearted, I have expressed. Again, there will be positive and negative visions of a past life shown to you.
Now back to the circle of life. The next time we are finished in this life, we shall visit the Akashic records and view this life and past lives. We shall see what we have experienced and what we need to achieve in the future. This shall, of course, include positive and negative experiences, remember yin-yang. So we shall plan our next life of what we wish to achieve next. There will be times in life that you shall receive confirmation of this, deja-vu. How many times have you been somewhere, maybe talking to someone and thought to yourself that you have experienced this before? This is the time when you know that you are on the right road of life, and secondly, a confirmation.
It is also believed (myself included) that we reincarnate within the same family group. Again, I was shown that my Granddad, in this life of which is my guide and helper, was also my father in a previous life of which was many moons ago. With each life, both sides have to experience different things; none is better or indeed sadder than with a family soul member. This has helped me to understand and answer many lessons in my own life. Why did my friends or family have to be taken so cruelly at the time with which they were? As previously said, Yin-Yang. So the mother and father in this life may have to lose a child for whatever circumstance. But in a previous life, the tables would have been turned, whereby the child lost the parent. Going more deeply, imagine that the child was the parent in a previous life, and they lost their child who was previously the parent. Now both souls have had the experience of losing a child and a parent. In each life lesson, each soul has helped the other to have an experience in this case, a sad one. But have no fear that positive scenarios shall and would have happened also.
So the next time you have a negative situation in your life, just remember that it was you who has decided to have that experience for your soul growth. It's worth noting here. How many times has something happened to you and you have thought why me? Only to go further on your life's journey to be in a better place, and can look back and think, actually, that sad experience has led me to a much more positive one.

TREES
It’s good to go for a walk among the energy that Mother Earth freely gives to us. It cleanses both the mind and soul. On one of my recent walks in the woods, I found myself chatting away (like we do), and realised that we are much like trees.
Please allow me to explain in more depth. You see, we are the trunk of the tree, the branches and leaves are our friends and family. Like a tree trunk (us) we are constantly feeding and loving our friends and loved ones (branches and leaves). That is wonderful, and we should not stop doing that. Indeed, the world could do with more of it. However, just as the tree trunk needs its roots to be strong to continue doing well, so must we nourish our roots (the soul) to be able to keep loving and caring. Please, when you send your healing and loving thoughts, don’t forget to include yourself. We must be fit and healthy to be able to look after ourselves and each other.
Another thing a tree does is shed its leaves, which is the weight it carries. This in turn allows it to come back the next year stronger, fitter and wiser ready for the new season ahead. Again, we can compare this to our own lives. There are times when we are in a position to lose; however, we gain so much more because of that. We can carry the past on our shoulders, which requires shedding. Once we do so, we come back feeling lighter and brighter.
I myself have gone through life where the trap door has opened, and I’ve found myself at a loss. But I'm sure you shall agree with your own experiences that as time goes by, we suddenly realise that what did happen was meant to be, because we then find ourselves in a much better place. This may take a week or a month, sometimes maybe six months or a year. But it always comes through eventually. What’s important here is to accept what has happened and find that positivity that is always there if we take the time to look for it.
Finally, like the trunk that sees and feels everything all year, so do we see and feel. With each passing year, we show ourselves that we can get past the harshest of seasons. Like the trunk and roots carry on growing, so do we. We are all much more resilient and stronger than we give ourselves credit for.
We are all here to grow the soul through life learning experiences, positive or negative. We become wiser and stronger with age. So next time you look at a tree, remember that we are closely on the same path. Go one step further and give that tree a hug. It’ll be the best thing that you and the tree shall feel.
