Hi my name is Billy Wakeling and I am a working spiritual medium living in Essex. In my career I have had the pleasure of many avenues including platform mediumship for churches / centres, which alongside my private readings takes up most of my time.
Other adventures include:

House clearance/rescues,
Child naming ceremonies (a spiritualist way of christening a child),
One - One and Group, private and confidential readings,
Workshops and spiritual teachings/enlightenment.
I take being a spiritualist medium very seriously. In my eyes I work for the biggest organisation in the universe, that being the spirit world. I work for them, with them, and always in the love and light that they so freely give to us all.
My job as a medium gives me so much pleasure, giving messages to clients from their loved ones, friends and family (and pets) and giving the love they send is truly magical !!
I'm lucky that spirit have blessed me to be able to work in many ways.

All of which are called upon during my readings.
I work all over Essex, Kent, and Hertfordshire (Further afield considered).
In the beginning.
From a small boy I have known spirit to spend time with me. I remember having visitations from spirit, and a knowing that I was never alone. My Granddad passed over before I was born, and I always remember my Nan saying that he would visit her and they would have conversations late at night. I now know that my Granddad was the one who would also visit me and spend time with me all through my life. In fact he is my guide and teacher, and I am very honoured to have him beside me always.
I remember my Nan, Mum and Aunts all having readings when I was a small boy. Mainly readings from a spiritual medium, but I do remember a friend of the family who would do tea leaf readings. All these things I accepted as perfectly normal (which they are). For centuries the whole world have seeked guidance in many ways. I have been lucky that spirit knew what they were doing even as a small boy, and have grown up around such surroundings.
How I began my mediumship.
I have visited many mediums throughout my life, and each time my Nan and Granddad would come through with messages. I visited one medium three times, and each time my Nan said "you can be a medium" But I didn't believe that I could. At the third reading I had my Nan come through again and this time she used stern words, and I knew then that she meant business. The medium that gave me those three readings put me under his wing and took me out working on platform demonstrations beside him. Since then I have never looked back.
As I have already said spirit have blessed me with a wonderful gift, and I have my dear Nan and Granddad for guiding and helping me to strengthen that gift throughout my entire life. They have put me in the right place at the right time, guided me to meet people for knowledge and placed books that I should read before me. They have always amazed me just how they have managed to do so, and I'm left only too grateful that they have done this for me.
I have had many different experiences in my life both good and bad. But I know that I have needed those experiences. For one they have shown me compassion and empathy. Qualities that are called upon during my work as a medium.
